Description

William McCarter – Onsite manager at Recycling and Disposal Services (RDS) in Whatcom County. We are a family owned and operated business that supports union family wage jobs, and ensuring waste disposal and recycling is accessible to all residence of Whatcom County. We are focused on providing an essential service while continuing our track record of environmental and local permit compliance. We are supportive of local organizations like: HomesNow, Re-store, Wild Whatcom, Boy Scouts, Resources, and Sustainable Connections. RDS has been focused on recycling since Day 1, providing source separate recycling and mixed waste recycling options. Some commodities that we accept include, garbage (commercial and non-commercial), clean wood, metal, green waste, cardboard, dirt, concrete, tires, appliances, mixed paper, plastic containers, e-waste, batteries, propane tanks, clothes donation.
