Confined spaces present some of the most serious workplace hazards and remain a leading cause of fatalities in construction and industry. This course provides employees, supervisors, and competent persons with the knowledge needed to identify confined spaces, recognize potential hazards, and understand regulatory requirements for safe entry. Common confined spaces include utility vaults, trenches, sewers and manholes, silos, process vessels, hoppers, pits, ductwork, and piping systems.
